Step by Step pictures on how to make palak paneer recipe
Step 1-rinse the palak or spinach leaves (200 to 250 grams), very well in running water.
Step 2- Boil 3 cups of water in a pan and put these spinach leaves (palak) into it and cook them for 45 seconds maximum.
Step 3- now take them out of the pan into a bowl with chilled water. it will help in stop the excess cooking and will make it nice and brighter.
Step 4- In the similar manner boil and cook the remaing spinach leaves (palak).
Step 5- Now after that we need to grind the spinach leaves (palak) into fine pure. drain out the excess water from the spinach leaves.
Step 6-Now lets grind it with a mixer .put the spinach leaves in a blender jar with 2-3 green chilli and grind it well.
Step 7- you can see in the below picture our spinach pure is now ready. now set these aside.
Step 8- Now its time to cook the palak paneer ,heat 2 tspn oil in a pan.
Step 9- now add cumin seeds ,let it change the color then 1 tspn garlic paste.
Step 10- sort the garlic nicely for about a minute.
Step 11- Now add he spinach pure into the pan and stir it for about 2-3 minutes and also add 2-3 tspn water to these.
Step 12- give it a mix ,you can see the nice and bright color of the mix. now lower the flame and let it cook for 5 for minutes.
Step 13- till then lets cut the paneer (cottage cheese ) into small cubes.
Step 14- now the gravy had started boiling , add salt to taste and 1 tspn lemon juice.
Step 15- now its time to add the cottage cheese i.e paneer cubes into the pan.
Step 16- mix the gravy well with the cottage cheese and make sure the paneer cubes won’t break.
Step 17- cook these for 3-4 minutes then add the fresh cream to it.
Step 18- after that switch off the flame and transfer the palak paneer in a serving bowl.
Step 19- Our palak paneer is now ready. garnish it with some fresh cream.

for the palak puree-

- 1/2 cup fresh cream
for garnishing palak paneer-
2-3 tspn fresh cream

6- Now add the spinach pure into the pan and stir it for about 2-3 minutes.
7-now lower the flame and let it cook for 5 for minutes.till then lets cut the paneer (cottage cheese ) into small cubes.
8- the gravy had started boiling , add salt , lemon juice.
9- add the cottage cheese i.e paneer cubes into the pan and mix the gravy well.
10- cook these for 3-4 minutes then add the fresh cream to it.
11- Our palak paneer is now ready. garnish it with some fresh cream.
- don’t boil the palak i.e spinach leaves for than 30-40 seconds unless it may melt.
- after boiling put the palak i.e spinach leaves in cold water ( it is a must follow step)
- cut the paneer in large cubes . don’t make the paneer cut too small.
