I love Chicken lollipop so much that whenever i visit any restaurant i order chicken lollipop there.for making a perfect chicken lollipop the meat is cut loose from the bone end and pushed down to create a lollipop appearance. In the Restaurants,it is basically served with Szechuan Sauce or sweet chili sauce.
Chicken lollipop is a fusion recipe and a Snack item.for the starters who are going to make it just remove the meat from the bone end of the chicken wings so that it look like a lollipop. Don’t worry its easy and i know you are gonna make it perfect , you know what i had also mistaken several times but at the last i learned the art of cutting and perfect chicken lollipop.Below i had posted few images to help you for making easy the chicken lollipop recipe.
Step by step pictures on how to make restaurant style chicken lollipop at home
Step 1- Take 10-12 chicken lollipop wings in a bowl.
Step 2- add 2 tblspn ginger garlic paste,salt to taste,1 tblspn crushed pepper,1 tspn soya sauce and mix it well so it gets the ingredients coated well.
Step 3- Now set the marinated chicken aside for at least 20 minutes till then heat 1/2 litre oil in a pan.
Step 4- Now lets prepare our 2nd marination in another bowl. add 1 tblspn chopped ginger, 1 tblspn chopped garlic,2 tblspn chili paste, 1/2 tblspn refined flour,1/2 cup corn flour,salt to taste , 1 tspn crushed pepper ,1/2 cup water and whisk it to make a perfect batter for the chicken lollipop.
Step 5- Now you can see the perfect batter and the color, we had got a perfect color due to red chili paste and we had not added any color to it.
Step 6- Now our chicken had also marinated well and oil has also heated hot so its time to deep fry the chicken lollipop wings.
Step 7- now take the chicken lollipop wings one by one , deep it in batter and directly fry it into the hot oil.
Step 8- In the same manner deep fry all the chicken lollipop wings. make sure the chicken wings get fried well.
Step 9- Cook the chicken lollipop wings till it become golden brown in color and crispy too.
Step 10- now transfer the fried chicken lollipop wings to a plate covered with observen paper and top it with some chopped spring onions greens.
Step 11- Our Restaurant Style Chicken lollipop recipe is ready to be served with some schezwan sauce or sweet chilli sauce.

Ingredients required for making chicken lollipops –

- 1 tblspn soya sauce
- 1/2 litre oil for deep frying
- 1 tablspn chopped ginger
- 1 tblspn chopped garlic
- 2 tablspn red chilli paste
- 1/2 cup refined flour
- 1/2 cup cornflour
- chopped spring onions greens for garnishing
Directions for making chicken lollipop recipe-
1- Marinate the chicken lollipop wings with the above mentioned ingredients for about 20 minutes.
2- prepare our 2nd marination batter in another bowl with chopped ginger, chopped garlic,chili paste,refined flour,corn flour,salt to taste ,crushed pepper,water.
3- take the chicken lollipop wings one by one , deep it in batter and directly fry it into the hot oil.
4- Cook the chicken lollipop wings till it become golden brown.

- Don’t marinate the chicken wings for than 1 hour unless it may become too soft.
- the meat is cut loose from the bone end and pushed down to create a lollipop appearance
- Don’t make the batter too thin or too hard, make it a perfect silky batter.
- deep Fry the chicken lollipop wings unless it may remain uncooked.
- You can foil the chicken lollipop bone with a aluminium foil.
