Chicken fried is one of my favorite recipe that i loves to eat at the street food corners.i really love the taste of the recipe as the chicken,the veggies,the egg and the fried rice gives it a delicious combination.
A Chicken lover is fond of eating chicken fried rice. i Know you are gonna surely love these below recipe. i had also posted some pictures on making chicken fried rice. so lets start
Step by Step photos on how to make chicken fried rice recipe
Step 1- soak 1 cup of basmati rice for atleast 30 minutes.
Step 2- after 30 minutes, switch on the stove and put a pot/cooker on it and pour the soaked water into it.
Step 3- when the water starts boiling ,add 1 tspn olive oil, 1tspn lemon juice and a littel salt to it.
Step 4- After that add the soaked rice to the cooker/pot and stir it well for a while.
Step 5- now cover the lid and wait for the first vessel to come. cook it in medium flame.when the vessel is about to come turn off the flame.
Step 6- let the pressure to come down then open the lid. transfer the cooked rice to a plate and allow it to cool for sometime.
Step 7- now take 1 cup of boneless chicken in a bowl cutted into small strips.
Step 8- add 1/2 tspn pepper powder,1 tspn corn flour,1 tspn of soya sauce and a littel salt.
Step 9- Mix it well and marinate it for at least 15 minutes.
Step 10- after 15 minutes ,heat 2 tspn of oil in a pan and fry the chicken pieces in low flame.
Step 11- now cover the lid fopr 2-3 minutes so that the water comes out of the chicken and observes it.
Step 12- open the lid and stir it well till it becomes light brown. we can see the color had changed ,turn off the flame and keep it aside.
Step 13- beat 2 eggs in a bowl and keep it aside.
Step 14- now heat 2 tblspn of olive oil in a pan and add 1 tspn finely chopped ginger, 1 tspn finely chopped garlic and sort it for sometime.
Step 15- now add 2 finely chopped onions and fry it till it becomes light golden and add 1 tspn of finely chopped carrot and 1 tspn of chopped capsicum.
Step 16- now push the vegetable to one side of the pan and pour the beaten egg and after 30 second scramble the beaten egg and mix it well with the vegetables.
Step 17- now add the chicken fried pieces, 1 tspn soya sauce,1 tspn chili garlic sauce and mix it well for a minute.
Step 18-add the cooked rice to the pan and mix it gentely.
Step 19-add 1/2 tspn white pepper powder,1 tspn vinegar and stir it well ,check salt if required add a littel more.
Step 20- now add 2 tblspn of spring onion greens and mix it well ,turn off the flame.
Step 21- our chicken fried rice is now ready to be served.

Ingredients for making chicken fried rice recipe –
For cooking the rice
- 1 cup of basmati rice
- 1 1/2 cup of water
- 1 tspn olive oil
- 1tspn lemon juice
- salt to taste
For Marinating the chicken
- 1 cup of boneless chicken
- 1/2 tspn pepper powder
- 1 tspn corn flour
- 1 tspn of soya sauce
- salt to taste
for frying the chicken
- 2 tspn oil
- marinated chicken pieces
for cooking the final chicken fried rice
- 2 tblspn of olive oil
- 1 tspn finely chopped ginger
- 1 tspn finely chopped garlic
- 2 finely chopped onions
- 1 tspn of finely chopped carrot
- 1 tspn of chopped capsicum
- 2 eggs beaten in a bowl
- 1 tspn soya sauce
- 1 tspn chili garlic sauce
- cooked rice
- 1/2 tspn white pepper powder
- 1 tspn vinegar
- salt if required
- 2 tblspn of spring onion greens

4- now take 1 cup of boneless chicken in a bowl cutted into small strips and add pepper powder,corn flour,soya sauce and a littel salt.
5- Mix it well and marinate it for atleast 15 minutes after that heat oil in a pan and fry the chicken pieces.
6- beat 2 eggs in a bowl and keep it aside.
7- heat olive oil in a pan and add chopped ginger,chopped garlic, chopped onions,chopped carrot and chopped capsicum , fry it well.
8- pour the beaten egg and scramble the beaten egg and mix it well .
9- now add the chicken fried pieces,soya sauce,chili garlic sauce and also add the cooked rice to the pan and mix it gentely.
10-add white pepper powder,vinegar,spring onion greens and mix it well ,turn off the flame.
11- our chicken fried rice is now ready to be served.
- Don’t soak the basmati rice more than a hour unless it may cook very fast and it may become messy.
- Use only boneless chicken , you can also use chicken over bone but i would prefer boneless cut down into strips.
- Don’t cook the rice more than 80 %, as the remaining will be cooked with the chicken.
- don’t use too much soya sauce , use is as prescribed.
Bonus tip on chicken fried rice –
For the most delicious and flavorful taste serve it hot with sweet chili sauce or szechaun sauce.
