So i decide to not post 1,2 but 3 different types of making easy biryani rice recipe south indian style.It is often called khuska rice in south indian states.Normally I prefer Biryani rice with chicken ..well vegetarians can try these with palak paneer and dal makhni . Surely you will love it completely.

Ingredients Used While Making of Biryani recipe :-
For Cooking of Biryani rice
- 1 ½ cups aged basmati rice (soaked for 1 hour, drain and set aside)
- 1/2 tspn shahi jeera/caraway seeds
- 2-3 bay leaves
- 1 tspn oil
- salt to taste
- 2 small strands of mace
- 1 large or 2 small black cardamom
- 4 green cardamom
- 3 cinnamon stick
- 6 cloves
- 1 large or 2 small bay leaf
- ½ tsp pepper corn
- ½ tsp shahi jeera / caraway seeds
- Biryani fool/licham
for layering of biryani rice
- 2 tspn of desi ghee
- some yellow food color
- 1/2 cup fried onions.
- 1/2 cup chopped coriander and mint leaves.

1 – The Most Flavorful Biryani recipe recipe – Spicy Style
Many people in the south indian styles like spicy biryani ,in these biryani rice recipe am going to show you, how you can easily cook biryani rice.In these biryani rice recipe,it contains a lot of whole spices which make it more flavorful and spicy. So lets begin, how to make biryani rice recipe spicy one.
Step 1- I don’t know how people buy basmati rice for making biryani rice. I would prefer to buy basmati rice after smelling it and having long seeds. when you smell the rice ,it gives you a beautiful basmati flavor.
Step 2- Take a large Bowl and Soak the Basmati rice for atleast 1 hour. So that the biryani rice get cooked in within 5-6 minutes.
Step 3- Preheat a Pot/cooker with 2 cups of water, when the water starts boiling, after 2-3 minutes add 1 tsn oil,salt o taste and add 2 small strands of mace , 1 large or 2 small black cardamom , 4 green cardamom, 3 cinnamon stick ,6 cloves ,1 large or 2 small bay leaf , ½ tsp pepper corn , ½ tsp shahi jeera / caraway seeds ,Biryani fool/licham.
Step 4- let it boil for another 2-3 minutes and when you smeel the water it gives you beautiful flavour. taste the water with a tspn , the salt is perfect or not.
Step 5- Now Add the Soaked rice into the boiling water. start stiring in the rice so that it cooks well. after 3-4 minutes it gets cooked upto 70%. if you are making a chicken biryani then don’t cook the rice more then 70% otherwise you may cook it completely.
Step 6- Switch off the stove and put the rice in another pot or if you are making chicken biryani spread the rice in the chicken marinated pot.
Step 7-add 1/2 cup fried onions and ½ cup coriander and mint leaves and mix it well and cover the pan for 2 minutes in low flame .
Step 8- You can now remove the whole spices from the chicken if u hates the whole spices comes to mouth while eating as the flavors are completely observed by the rice.

2. Easy Biryani rice recipe -the Restaurant Style
Now i will let to learn ,how to make easy biryani rice recipe – Restaurant style. You might be thinking why i had named the restaurant style because they are not adding too much whole spices to the rice ,the are just grinding the whole spices, making a powder of it and marinating it with the chicken.
Step 1- Wash the Basmati rice till and Soak the Basmati Rice in Water for atlaest 1 hour.
Step 2- Preheat the pot with 2-3 cups of water. let the water start boiling.
Step 3- After 3-4 minutes, when the water starts boiling add tpsn of oil,some shahi jeera,2-3 bay leaves and salt to taste.
Step 4- Add the soaked rice into the boiling water. don’t let the rice go silent ,stir it . these will help the rice cook well.
Step 5- After 3-4 minutes it gets cooked upto 70%. if you are making a chicken biryani then don’t cook the rice more then 70% otherwise you may cook it completely.
Step 6- Switch off the stove and put the rice in another pot or if you are making chicken biryani spread the rice in the chicken marinated pot. layer the rice with fried onions,yellow food color,2 tsn desi ghee, some chopped mint and coriander leaves.
Instruction- Don’t add too much water ,the water must be 1/3 finger above the rice.
3. Learn how to make Muslim style biryani rice recipe.
Muslim Style Biryani Rice ,You Will Surely love these one because It’s the ancient and the traditional biryani rice recipe. Biryani is one of the favorite recipes of Muslim’s tradition whenever you will visit muslim marriage you while surely found various types of biryani and they are biryani lovers. So I can’t wait to start sharing these recipe
Step 1- Buy the best Biryani rice I would prefer to buy long seed rice having rice basmati smell while smelling it.
Step 2- Wash the rice and soak it for atleast 1 hour.
Step 3- heat 2 tspn oil in a pot or cooker add sahi jeera,3-4 elaichi, and fry it for one minute.
Step 4- Add 3 ½ cup of water and when the water starts boiling add all the ingredients in a small cotton cloth i.e 2 bay leaves ,2 green cardamom,2 black cardamom,4 cloves,8 back peppercorn,1 inch cinnamon bark and stretch it with a thread and put it into boiling water.
Step 5- add 2 tspn lemon juice and salt to taste.
Step 6- Add the soaked rice into the boiling water and cover the pan and when the rice is 90 % done open the lead add some yellow food color and ½ cup coriander and mint leaves and mix it well and cover the pan for 2 minutes in low flame .
Step 7- The Biryani Rice is now done and ready to be served . for garnishing add some fried onions and fried cashewnuts.
- Don’t use normal rice for making biryani rice recipe.
- Don’t let the rice over cooked,constantly check the rice.
