Step 1 – Heat pan on medium heat and add 2 tblspn of butter after melting add 2 large finely chopped onions and stir it well till its starts getting changing the color.
Step 2- Now add 1 tbspn ginger galric paste, 1 tspn coriander powder, 1 tspn garam masala powder, 1 tspn red chilli powder and cook it till the onions gets coated well with the powdered spices.
Step 3- Now add 1 cup of tomato puree, 1 tspn sugar,salt to taste and cook it for 4-5 minutes until the oil get extracted from the masala.
Step 4- Our masala is now ready its nice and thik , now add 3 tblspn of water to till and give it a mix.
Step 5- Now add 1 tspn fenugreek leaves (kasturi methi) to the masala gravy and finally add 250 gm paneer cubbed (cottage cheese) into the masala gravy.
Step 6 – Now mix the paneer with the masala so that its get coated well.make sure the paneer won’t break.
Step 7- Now put the lid on the top and cook it for 5-6 minutes .Don’t over cook it unless the paneer might get harder.we need the paneer to be soft.
Step 8- Now turn down the flame and add some chopped coriander leaves to it.
Step 9- Now our paneer masala is ready to be served with partha or bread naans.

* 2 tblspn of butter

* 1 tspn garam masala powder
